Physician Recruitment

The most important part of Newton Memorial Hospital's overall mission is to provide quality care throughout the Hospital's service area.

The purpose of the Hospital's Physician Recruitment program is to help achieve that goal. In fulfilling this role, the Hospital recognizes the need to recruit, or assist in the recruitment of, new practitioners to the service area when a community need is demonstrated.

Newton Memorial Hospital subscribes to the Internet site, "MD DIRECT RECRUITING", a service of "Physicians' Online." Physicians who are interested in recruiting may avail themselves of this Internet site by contacting Physician Recruitment. We will be happy to help put the information together to advertise their opportunity. This form of recruitment is available at NO COST to our Medical Staff members.

Physician's Office Liaison

The Physician Office Liaison represents the Hospital by:

»	working with the department managers within the hospital to communicate suggestions, identify problems and formulate solutions for the mutual benefit of the Hospital, the physician offices and ultimately, the patients;

»	educating physicians and their office staffs about the services available from Newton Memorial Hospital;

»	facilitating communication between physicians and their office staffs and the appropriate departments within the Hospital when services are requested; and

»	following up on service requests to ensure that expectations are exceeded.

Regular office hours are Monday - Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. Other hours are available upon request.
